“The food was fine. Uneventful. Not a huge amount of skill / flavour involved, but it was fine. Lovely focaccia bites pre-starter. We paid the supplement for the fillet steak and the meat was good. The service was great. We were one of only two tables on a Friday night. The red wine was unbelievably terrible. Undrinkable. Desserts were nice.”

“Very tasty food, presented really well. Generous portions, I was very full up after the 3 courses! Good range of choices available despite it being a reduced menu through Wowcher. Waiter was friendly and attentive, and mindful of our needs. Overall a great experience, the perfect way to celebrate my friend’s wedding anniversary.”

“The food wasn’t particularly special given the full price value- example is the attached image of my starter of scallops with fried quail’s egg, which was also quite bland. My partner’s starter of the yakisoba chicken skewers were the smallest I’ve ever seen; it looked like they’d just painted a thin layer of chicken onto the skewers. The desserts were the best part, and they did go out of their way to give me a separate ‘birthday’ plate of cakes which was a nice touch.”
