“We're just back from a 2 night stay, and the deal we had made it great value for money, and some of the reviewers really need to take this into account and have realistic expectations at this price point. We've stayed before many years ago and it's certainly improved since then. It's a bit tired in places, but didn't detract from our experience. It's a great location with loch views from downstairs areas and beer garden. Large free car park. The staff were all very nice and helpful, with a special mention for Cristina who was brilliant: swift communication, efficient and really helpful sorting a couple of things for us, going the extra mile which we very much appreciated, she's a credit to the hotel. The breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold items, drinks etc. It was lovely on the first day, though the hot items all seemed a bit greasier the second morning, we had an evening meal which again was fairly standard but nice. Bar area was fine again with good views across the Loch. Our room was compact, but clean and had everything you need. There's a great wee Bistro literally next door where we had a fab meal on our second night and there's a couple of very decent pubs with good outdoor spaces within walking distance, and a local shop where you can get any extra bits and pieces you require. All in all we had a great stay, helped by the outstanding weather, so we spent most of our days, wandering around taking in the scenery and enjoying the odd pint or 2 at various different locations. We'll definitely be back when we get the chance, it certainly ticked all the boxes for us.”

“The hotel location was great and the girls at the desk Christina and Darah where lovely and helpful The bedsheets where all torn the room carpet was smelling off mold really needs a upgrade The breakfast was delicious and the cook was helpful however the female girl in restaurant I didn’t get her name as she was the rudest person I have ever came across , she turned her head when I asked a simple question The man that served us at the bar tall guy bald head looked like he just hated working there and wee where putting him out by ordering a drink never again will I be back to this hotel and I have stayed here a few times before”
