“Fabulous 2 night stay at The Holt Hotel bed and breakfast including £20 discount per person off the price of an evening meal on the first night. Comfortable room facing the road. The rooms at the back of the of the hotel have a balcony overlooking the gardens are are much quieter.”

“On first impressions we were not that happy but changed our opinion when we saw our room . The reception area clearly needs an update and the carpet needs a good vacuum. However we had room 88 which is one of the renovated rooms and this in comparison to the reception area was very pleasant and modern. Although I must add take your own hair dryer as the lead on the HD is so ridiculous it's not worth trying to use it. The bar lounge area has also been renovated and is decorated and furnished to a high standard. The breakfast was varied and ok. The eggs and bacon were under cooked. But the sausages were tasty. The evening meal was delicious and plenty of choice. Overall a pleasant stay . Definitely a 3 star Hotel.”

“Great overnight stay at The Holt Hotel last weekend. The room was cosy and comfortable with powerful shower. The hotel was clean and staff were welcoming and pleasant. Cooked breakfast was very nice and check out not too early. We would stay again”
