“It was a average hotel, being renovated, as they were painting inside and the main restaurant area was closed as they had a new carpet to lay. So we had breakfast in the bar area. The room they first gave us hadn't been cleaned, so they gave us another one with a seaview. The room was ok, it was basic, with TV, kettle and hairdryer. The bathroom was ok, but no hot water so we had to boil the kettle for hot water, to have a wash. The breakfast was very basic with choice of 3 cereals, cooked was a buffet type with bacon, sausage, beans, scrambled eggs and fried egg a hash browns. A lot of the staff, didn't speak English. Not that helpful, but they did the best they could. Not far from the pier, across the road from the beach, about a 20mins walk to town, buses on the seafront go to the town and Hastings outside the hotel and buses at the back of the hotel in Seaview Road, go to town.”

“Sadly it was not a great, we ended leaving the very next day didn’t even stay or two nights. There was hair on the bed, carpet was dirty not even hoovered, no hand soap, the shower was leaking water on the floor which then lead to a damp smell. The only positive thing was we had a great view.”
