“Would go back, staff are fantastic fidd is gorgeous scenery is lovely and the walk along the river side is beautiful and very peaceful. Spa and pool area are fantastic”

“Hotel lovely , food good . Spa excellent. Would go again. Minor niggles , trifle sponge is not same as shortbread. Fresh fruit at breakfast would have been nice apart from that no complaints. Good value and nice staff. Well done”

“The Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, plenty of choices, self serve buffet 9f hot and cold offerings. The hotel does have have character our room was on an angle old build squeaky floorboards. The room was welcoming but did have a strange smell, the windows were open so this did disappear. Prosecco was chilled shortbread was sponge fingers dipped in cooking chocolate strawberries where also dipped in cooking chocolate. We had dinner we were informed what wasn't available. We ordered the prawns & coconut lollipops and arancini balls. Pork medallions and Korean style chicken burger. We were informed the arancini balls were not available so orders 2 prawns, now what appeared was mush with raw onion in it and we think prawns but were unsure, cooked in a batter, the sauce it came in was tasteless and watery. The burger came out with a teaspoon of bought in coleslaw loads of fries(very tasty) the actual burger was moist and tasty but as there was so much mayo and sweet chilli sauce on the roll it made it all very soggy. There was no kimchi. The pork was steaks not loin burnt actually cremated and covered in sauce, the mash had lumps of raw potatoes in it, whole peppercorns. The green vegetables were lovely. We had a lovely bottle of wine.”
