“On arrival seen a sign saying jacuzzi out of order whitch was quite disappointing but didnt think it was a real issue as there was plenty of other things to do , spa was quite busy so didn’t have anywhere to sit and relax for a while , the saunas were excellent but the steam rooms smelt quite strongly of damp and mildew /mould , and the swimming pool water was really murky . So didn’t enjoy the spa at all .. however the afternoon tea was amazing.. We have been before and it was nothing like this then and had a lovely time so it was really disappointing this time sadly”

“I attended with a friend in September for our Birthday treats and I enjoyed my time so I booked it again this month October. Pleasant clean facilities , staff and polite and very helpful ,the afternoon tea in the large dinning room with stunning views . I like that you can have complimentary hot drinks in the lunge area of the spa . The bar / Lounge area has a range of seating and sofa with a homely feel with nostalgic board games what I use to play during my childhood .”

“We book the spa experience twice with the first visit not getting off to the best start as when we arrived to book in we had to pay an additional £20.00 for a robe as these are not included in the experience off but this was not quoted in the t&c’’s. We dis not make the same mistake on our second visit and took our own. The facilities are I would say the best in Shropshire but you need to get there early as beds/seats are reserved by other guests towels for example 4 beds had towels on them from 10.30 to when we left at 2.45 with the guests only sitting on them for 20 minutes in total. Also, booked afternoon tea for 3pm on both visits to the spa on the first visit the service and food were amazing and again most probably the best afternoon tea experience in Shropshire. Unfortunately the second visit the service was poor but still amazing food just a shame to have drinks @ 3pm with no offer of sugar and to receive the food 40 minutes later when no drinks were left with no apology. It is a shame to leave negative feedback when the facilities and food were so amazing, and both of us truly love the venue but this was just let down by details not being quoted on the offer and the waitress service on the second visit being so poor.”
