“Food excellent,surroundings brilliant ,staff extremely friendly so overall very enjoyable,BUT!! Within 5 mins of being seated we were served our drinks ,a cup of tea for my wife ana a coffee with milk for me.Some 10/15 mins later the food arrived.By this time we had consumed half of each drink and the remainder was cold. On requesting refills we were informed that this would only be done at an additional cost ,which we declined. In our 85 years we have enjoyed many afternoon teas and have never been served only a cup of tea or coffee and not a tea pot of tea or a pot of coffee.. This spoilt what was a very enjoyable experience for us both and will will be a consideration when thinking about any future visit..”

“Lovely setting. Was slightly smaller than possibly their normal afternoon tea but for what we paid we couldnt really ask for anything more. Worth the £10 then we paid a £2.50 fee for a saturday booking”

“Lovely afternoon tea, no issues using the wowcher however we were disappointed that we were served our hot drinks but did not receive our food until 25 minutes later. It was busy as it was the last day to use the voucher but even people seated after us were served their food first which for us, tarnished our experience.”

“Lovely afternoon tea although the bar was extremely busy and not enough staff. Wed almost eaten out tea before our drinks arrived which spoilt our time a little.”
