“Stayed here years ago and it was great but was rather disappointed with my latest visit. It's a nice looking hotel in beautiful grounds but the crockery in the restaurant was gritty and the glasses were marked this was at breakfast and evening meal. For a four star hotel they need to up the game for the cooked breakfast, the pastry etc were good. If the evening meal is part of a deal there are so many expensive supplements it is not worth having as the menu you can choose from is so lilmited rather cheeky really. The bed was so uncomfortable our backs were in agony when we got up, maybe just different from our bed at home. But sadly we will not be back”

“We paid for hotel overnight with dinner and breakfast, to be told most of the menu is extra and had to be paid we ended up paying extra £55 for dinner aswell as waiting over 1hour and half before getting our main course after a soup. We ended up leaving early to head to hotel room without the desert, then in the morning we headed down to breakfast at 9.20 and there was no breakfast available, the guy who worked there said there's no delivery's so no breakfast I was so upset and angry. Iv never left a hotel in my life to come home so hungry worst experience ever. I wouldn't even rate this a 2 star. The spa isn't a spa. We couldn't use pool as its the most tiny pool ever. They had swimming lessons, iv never seen a pool more cloudy in my life. No jacuzzi or anything which is strange. Never again will I come back”

“Beautiful Hotel very clean .Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was delicious Grounds were lovely .I was a bit disappointed swimming pool was closed and I wasn't told in advance All in very good value for money.”

“The dinner menu was reduced because of staff shortages and was little more than a pub grub range. The service was extremely slow. Breakfast was a disaster too. Broken coffee machine and over-cooked eggs and lack of interest from the staff. Very disappointed”

“Staff very nice and helpful. One thing is the pricelist for the drinks.and meals is not what u get charged as thw prices have went up but.n9t been changes at don't tell the customers.”
