“My husband & I had a 1 night booking at the hotel. We had a warm welcome from reception and directed to our room. The room was very nice, clean & provided all that we needed. The Roman blind was down on arrival & obviously was broken, as chain on the window ledge. We decided to not unpack & report to reception on our way out. The hotel is very well placed for walking to the quay, cathedral and shops. Upon return the duty manageress was extremely helpful, friendly and being unable to repair promptly moved us to another equally nice room. Another couple of hiccups (not through the fault of the hotel) and the staff were lovely in assisting us and with a nice complimentary glass of wine in hand we got to relax in the bar area. Breakfast was good and plentiful. All in all we would definitely recommend this hotel.”
