“Very clean and tidy place,reception staff very friendly,the breakfast was buffet style,and the food was very nice and sat with a good view of the canal,we had a canal view room which was a good size with a comfy bed”

“Nice big room, it was very warm though as it was right at the top of the building. Beds comfortable. No complaints about breakfast, it was plentiful and suited all of our needs. Prosecco was a lovely touch. Will stay again.”

“The Skipton Hotel was a great location on the outskirts of Skipton by the canal. Our room was spacious (kingsize bed, 2 seater sofa and still space to spare!) with a roomy bathroom featuring shower, toilet and basin. The room was comfortable and well decorated. We ate in the restaurant for an evening meal and for breakfast. Food was well priced, beautifully presented, good choice and well served. Breakfast was self-service and lots of choice, including cereals, pastry, fruit, yogurt, toast and full English breakfast served with tea or coffee and fruit juices. Highly recommended.”

“Hotel good in excellent position for going into Skipton, nice canal facing room. Food in hotel of good quality and very reasonable prices. Had to ask for bottle of prosecco at reception as it was not offered but other than that staff very nice. The pool and gym were closed for refurbishment which was a disappointment. All in quite a nice stay.”
