“Friendly welcome by reception staff. Enjoyed our complimentary drink and felt straight at home. Beautiful period furniture and gorgeous gardens. Breakfast was amazing, spoiled for choice and fresh. Only downside was our room, it was clean and a comfortable bed but we were ground level looking out onto pathway and surrounded by scaffolding…. Not a pretty site and we had to keep curtains closed as other guests walking by could see straight in. We could have asked to be moved but decided not to after all we got a bargain price. Would definitely return but would request higher room over looking the amazing gardens and sea in the distance.”

“Beautiful setting just outside of Scarborough. Old converted Manor House with an added annex and lots of gardens,putting green,tennis court,games room,croquet etc. outdoor seating areas in abundance. Room was lovely and clean with a great shower. Furniture basic but adequate. Bigger bed would have been nice but you can’t have everything. Staff were all absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was well stocked and filled us up for the day. More than ample parking too. Lovely place, will definitely visit again. Thank you for making our stay so lovely.”

“Once you get over the initial shock that this place was once a hospital and retains the features of a hospital, it is a well run establisment with friendly and helpful staff . Cooked Breakfast was hot and plentiful,cereals,fruit,fresh juice,toast,tea and coffee available as well. Bedroom warm,clean and tidy with a well equipped drinks trolley .”
