“Stone Villa is a lovely boutique hotel, hidden down a little road just off one of the main roads that pass through Hoole into Chester city Centre. The hotel has recently been refurbished so looks lovely and clean and refreshed. The afternoon tea was delicious with a selection of finger sandwiches presented on a slate platter. A 3 tier plate stand held a selection of cakes and macaroons on the bottom tier, 2 plain scones with jam and cream on the middle tier and little quiches on the top tier. All of theses being homemaid. To accompany all of this there was a choice of tea, caffertied coffee or fruit juice. The service was excellent. I would certainly recommend to anyone thinking of treating themselves to an afternoon tea.”
