“We had a wonderful 2 night stay, the hotel was in a very nice location, clean, nice room, friendly staff. Only minus points were the lift not working (not ideal when my wife has mobility issues and our room was up 2 flights of stairs) and also the draft lager pumps in the bar were not working on the first night (not major). All in all, a pleasant stay.”

“Lovely setting for hotel. Hotel was nice, but looking tired and badly in need of a coat of paint and taking a hoover to the carpet would help . Staff very nice and accommodating (I changed rooms) apart from one young man who was quite rude and had no enthusiasm for his job whatsoever. The evening meal was very nice. All in all good value for money and I would both return and recommend.”

“Nice rooms very dood food pleasant staff. Excellent breakfast. If I had a complaint it would be the service for dinner which was very slow not enough staff and the young girl serving dinner was very inexperienced and obviously had very little or no training”

“A lovely short break with attentative staff ,a 2 course meal and a bottle of wine on arrival in the bedroom.The bedroom we were allocated was comfortable with everything we needed and had a modern en suite bathroom.This was our second visit to this hotel and we will be back.”
