“The hotel is in a brilliant location close to the railway station and just a few minutes walk from the town centre. The staff are always pleasant and helpful (this was our 2nd stay). Rooms are a good size and meet our needs. The wine and chocolates are a nice touch. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Big bonus if travelling by car - FREE, yes free parking in a town centre. We will be back, thank you.”

“Rundown ! Outdated furnishings and fittings. Booked for night away ...bed and breakfast with wine(white) and a box of decent chocolates (twix and a wispa). Yes there is music from the bars great if your there for that,don't expect to sleep with the thud and booms shaking the walls till about 2 30 am. Breakfast was edible if you can figure how to hold lid and load your food on to ya plate at same time.”

“Not as expected. Staff friendly enough and helpful. The room was small and very dated and damaged. Smelly furniture. Bare concrete showing. Nothing like other vouchers I have purchased before. The hallways was a fusty smell. Floor boards creek all over the room. All you can hear above when anyone else is moving too. Would not stay again. Good location and free car parking for guests”
