“Budapest was lovely, the hotel was great too at first sight! However we did have bed bugs and the bites made me extremely unwell due to a reaction. The hotel was a great location, lots of bars and restaurants nearby and close to attractions. I would never book through Wowcher again for anything though. As they was ment to call me within two days of booking to confirm which they didn’t, when I phoned them the operator was very rude and no customer service manners at all. Trying to force me to change the flights and airport, when I researched the flight times there were no flights of tht time or airport. But wanted me to change it for a price of £125 pp. I had the line manager call me back which he then changed the hotel and airport for again another price of £90. When I again done my research I found out the prices for the flight and hotel were a quarter of the price of I had just booked the normal way I do.”

“Budapest was a wonderful experience. The country is full of history & culture. The timing of our flights were excellent enabling us to enjoy three full days. The hotel was in an excellent location however I would not rate it a 4*. It is a good 2* at best. The room was full of dust, dirty sheets were made up in the bed and towels with holes in were provided the second day of our stay. Apart from that the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Would I stay here again… perhaps now that I know what to expect.”
