“The service was good, and the view over the beach and promenade was great, but if Harry Ramsdens is intending to carry on serving crispy fish and chips pieces as Afternoon Tea, then the company needs to re-design the "carousel" on which the food is served. The traditional "pyramid" type shape of metal struts is fine for a traditional type of afternoon tea comprising of cold food such as sandwiches and cake, but needs to be changed for the Harry Ramsdens type of "fish and chip" type of offering, because an elegant pyramid of metal wire only exposes the fish and chip type morsels to rapid cooling. I would suggest staying with the traditional pyramid type shape, but presenting the fish and chip pieces in heated, thick ceramic bowls with reasonably deep sides to slow down cooling. Hope that the above suggestion is useful.”

“Absolute disgrace the deal is not what it seems, I ordered 2 vouchers for 4 people Maximum stated on offer, but you cannot book 4 people via wowcher link, it shows as fully booked till the end of time, asked for a refund which I recieved minus the £4 non refundable admin fee..They have a limitation on people which they don't state. Also you can't check availability until you buy one. Customer Service for Harry Ramsden is non existance sent Complaint and after 5 days no reply,, they Couldn't Give a monkeys once they have your money.. Wowcher didn't Wow me at all .Rubbish from Both Parties.. Avoid.”

“For a fish and chip afternoon tea there is actually very little fish and only a few chips. That said if it was top quality I’d have given a higher star rating. The overall cook and taste was disappointing and didn’t live up to expectations. The custard comes in a very tiny pot more fitting to a restaurant sized portion of ketchup. I had booked beforehand, arrived 10 minutes before my booking time a told to wait outside by a quite unfriendly staff member too. Overall not the experience I was anticipating.”
