“Absolutely loved this! The a la crate was amazing! Great to sample lots of different tastes! The staff in the bar were very attentive. The waitress very polite! The margarita was soooo nice (£15 each) but that’s the price I’ve paid elsewhere. There was a big service charge but that was optional! I would like to try the the other menus ie Thai and 3 course at some point. (Steadhampton)”

“The location is as quirky with lots of separated seating areas. The restaurant appears bigger than it is by clever use of a massive mirror that looks like an archway. Service was friendly and efficient, we were happy to pay the 13.5% optional charge. The food was delicious and well presented but don't expect to get huge portions, this is about quality, not portions. The billing is a little confusing, they did make an error, which was corrected. They seek improvement to their till system to improve clarity. This is the reason I dropped a star, otherwise an excellent choice for a special meal.”

“I have always wanted to try crazy bear as it looked so nice, i wasn't disappointed, absolutely loved itso much so im just about to go bark for my 3rd visit.”

“Visited the Crazy Bear to actually utilise a voucher for the 12 dish signature menu with Champagne. The meal was very enjoyable with the dishes being brought out three at a time. These included crackers, Endame Beans, Duck, Pork, Noodles with prawns, seaweed and a dessert at the end. We were sat in the Thai restaurant which is beautifully decorated and the staff were attentive and very courteous. The price does not include the service charge but that is based on the Wowcher price and any additions such as bottled water. Although I would not pay the full price for this meal the Wowcher discouned price represents very good value and a lovely two hours in a relaxed atmosphere eating something different and of good quality!”

“Praise for the Crazy Bear but less so for Wowcher. The deal is good value and having done it before I can say that the food and welcome at the Crazy Bear is great. I just find the Wowcher process confusing when a booking is involved and don’t feel happy until the venue itself confirms”
