“When we arrived at reception around midnight after several diversions on-route were greeted by Sophie at reception she was friendly and very efficient checked us in. We booked two rooms but as no room with extra large bed available nor family room said we were booked into three rooms for both nights I had booked extra night via another provider as woucher only offered one night. There was a person very drunk causing a lot of commotion swearing badly my grandson who was 6 got really scared All night none off got any sleep as the windows were not fully glazed and a lot of traffic noise all night In the morning after 6 am there was drilling works. My daughter rang and asked if we could change rooms to a quieter location . We were shocked the next day after breakfast we went out and my daughter had a shock when she went into her room there was a drunken man in her room all her stuff had been removed We found out the manager has ordered her stuff to be removed My daughter is autistic and had ADHD she was very distraught and distressed When we raised it with the manager she said we were only booked for two rooms I asked why she had not called me as had my tele number she did not apologise was rude defensive unrepentant Sophie the person who was there admitted she looked shocked told us we were booked into three rooms for both nights but this manager refused to admit her removing my daughters belongings from her room and giving her such a shock was unacceptable behaviour I had to pay for the other room all she offered in as retribution was two drinks at the bar The next day I rang receptionist if we can have late check out he said you have to pay I asked to speak to his manager The same manager came on she said sorry we cannot let you have late check out as we fully booked I said even on a Sunday she said yes I feel her attitude really ruined our entire stay”

“The room was very small and looked nothing like the room in the photos advertising the stay. The room was airless and the windows could not be opened. Will not stay here again”
