“You get an immediate sense of the history and character of Peckforton Castle as soon as you drive under the arched entrance into the courtyard. All the members of staff are very courteous/ helpful and the food is of a similar high standard, as you’d expect.”

“Room was great and the castle grounds themself were wonderful. Warm welcome and young man in the wind cellar great service however service at meal was only negative with our stay. Lady that was serving was clearly overstretched we had to wait to be seated then almost and hour for starters to arrive baring in mind we ordered cold starters olives and pitta and hummous when they arrived we requested side plates and they didn't arrive until we had given up waiting and finished the starters when the food arrived we requested ketchup and salt and again the wait was so long we ended up eating so our food wasn't cold 10 minutes later she returned to tell us unfortunately there was no hot sauce which we hadn't requested again we had pretty much finished food. We didn't even bother requesting more drinks with out food as we knew we would have been waiting again.”

“Beautiful castle rooms nice food overpriced service really good, you have to pay deposit on arrival took 7 days to go back on card maybe mention that on the deal”
