“We had a really nice stay but the couple we went with were surprised at such a lot of items were supplements like an orange juice at breakfast, a full English !! Perhaps the price should be advertised higher than these would be covered. The place itself is very comfortable and extremely interesting it seems a shame if this comes as a shock to you.”

“A very comfortable stay. Peaceful and relaxing ambience. Quiet rooms. The food was delicious. A little surprised at breakfast that if you wanted juice it was extra and you couldn't have the muesli and a hot dish. So a different approach to breakfast. But close to Bath with a bus stop at the end of the driveway for the 20 minute ride into the centre of Bath. Would stay here again.”

“No issues with price of experience, but service was patchy (MPW was in the bar alone with us and wouldn't even acknowledge our presence, incredibly rude in my opinion). Paid extra for the superior room and disappointed to find none of the expected basics - tea/coffee, television, iron & board. Food was the low point, extremely disappointing, but breakfast was nice and so was the breakfast waiter ! Paid for two nights, left after one !”

“Terrible experience which is such a shame we often visit marco's restaurants. The grounds are stunning the rooms are old, broken and dusty. Didn't have one choice on each of the 3 courses. Breakfast was tge best bit but if u want to order more food there's a £99 charge! Thought maybe there was s typo error but waiter confirmed the cost..”

“Lovely food and a very nice bedroom. Unfortunately there was a maintenance issue that was not dealt with over the 2 days stay, which affected sleep. The grounds are delightful but the work taking place on the Manor’s exterior distracted from its beauty.”
