“Somewhat disappointed with the allocated room in the olde house and the uncomfortable soft bed. Our room was/is an unexpected distance from reception, bar/restaurant and the (unused) spa facilities. It couldn't have been any further away and up and down several stairs and through a few doors too! Wife has a heart condition and asthma so it was a struggle for her. No view of the grounds from the bedroom windows either. See photos! Lots of dust on flat surfaces in the room too! There was no warning or advisement of any of this by Wowcher. Breakfast was plentiful and varied but dinner was just 'ok' - pub food! The bar and restaurant staff were very pleasant, happy and friendly. Two coach loads of Americans/Canadians were very loud in the bar and made for a short and unsatisfying evenings in the bar/restaurant for us. The olde house main entrance and the grounds were amazing to see.”
