“High tea was lovely. Three of us opted for the fish and chips, one had the gammon steak followed by strawberry tarts, scones with jam and cream and a lovely pot of tea and coffee. The scones were somewhat underwhelming as they were a bit under baked and needed more sugar but they were absolutely fine once we put the toppings on . It's a nice hotel, lovely decor and extremely clean with beautiful grounds. The lady who served us couldn't have been any nicer and she was very attentive . The sun was out so after the meal we took a wee walk down to the fabulous Kelpies.”
