“I had purchased the junior supercar driving experience for my 12-year-old grandson for his birthday. My daughter, Clare Sanger had booked it over the phone, as it was complicated and unclear which cars, venues and dates were available, and my grandson specifically wanted Dunsfold Park aerodrome at half term, 24th October, and to drive a Porsche 911 as one of the supercars. I had to pay £30 extra for that venue and date, and I also paid the £50 for insurance (total now £164). We had the confirmation letter and parking permit printed as requested, and my daughter booked the day off work. As it was my gift, I gave my daughter the £25 fuel money it would cost to get from our home ME2 2DN to the venue. It took us 1.5 hours to get there, only to find out that he had been erroneously booked as an adult, and that there were no cars available that would be suitable for him to drive. He was so disappointed, and my daughter was shaking with rage, but kept calm. She was given a resolution form to sign and told that she would receive a phone call to rebook. The staff at the venue were very sympathetic, but couldn't do anything to resolve the problem, however, they did give him 2 laps as a passenger in an Ariel Atom by way of appeasing the situation on the day. Another 1.5 hours to get home. My daughter has re-booked the experience for Nov 22nd, but no compensation has been offered to reimburse her/me for the time and fuel wasted. I have booked similar experiences with you in the past, with PSR experience, which have always been excellent, but this one came through with a different company,Everyman Driving Experiences. I appreciate it wasn't your mistake, but you use the company, so you must take some accountability and therefore offer some compensation for the disappointment, and lost time and moey incurred. “Purchased this for my grandson recently for Xmas, so he's not had the experience day yet. However, I have been waiting for the gift pack for which I paid an extra £4.99, but this has not yet arrived. I have raised this with the racetrack people, so I'm waiting to hear back from them. “We never made it as far as doing f the experience after booking a deal through Wowcher for £38 . Called everyday racing to book experience and they could not offer the sports car experience at that price. They tried to up sell to track 100 miles away , upsell from sports car to supermarket by claiming no sports car available in next 6 months and up sell on number of laps. On top of this they force you to pay additional insurance by setting the excess to a ridiculous £5k if the car was damaged and you hadn't taken their insurance. What looks like a fun reasonably priced experience is a total con. I would recommend you to avoid them”
