“We arrived early,the staff obliging us with a very nice table for 2. The selecting of the choice of tea was a very nice touch. Our waitress was very polite and accommodating. The table linen and ambience made it a memorable afternoon out. Thank you Henrietta House.”

“The welcome was much to be desired .after our afternoon tea was brought to us we were pretty much left to it ..no one came to table asked if every thing was ok or if we needed anything Elsa and didn't see any one even when we left .I'm not sure I would won't to go back .”

“In a small room was 3 tables laid out for the 3 families who booked an afternoon tea. The room was also set up with lots of chairs as there was a meeting later on. The sandwiches and cakes/ scones were ok (jam was in a small plastic container you buy in shops, I would have preferred an open pot), and we were offered indidual fancy tea leafs and your own teapot. This was the second visit rearranged, as apparently there was no chef when we originally booked, though they did give us a bottle of bubbly to compensate! Staff were friendly, but main problem was there was no ambience as the room was small and quiet. It was ok overall but think you can get a better deal locally.”
