“This review is about Wowcher and not the Andaz. Many of their adverts are misleading. Once you purchase the offer you and go to the merchant to redeem the offer, you realise that the offer is not as it was described on the Wowcher website. To add fuel to the fire, Wowcher somehow sell you a VIP membership whilst you are purchasing your offer that you were unaware you were purchasing. Please read this article published on Sky News about this scam https://news.sky.com/story/wowcher-faces-court-threat-over-misleading-sales-practices-13009496 . When you realise that your offer is not what the merchant is actually selling, then Wowcher states they will help you only because you have this VIP membership. The customer service you receive thereafter is less than fifth rate, and the emails you carefully take time to draft setting out the issue regarding the differences between what is stated on the Wowcher advert and what the merchant is actually selling, are not read by the people being employed at the customer help centre (clearly somewhere outside of the UK with staff who do not speak English very well, and therefore are not in a position to deal with your issue). Instead of addressing the points in your email, the customer service team reply with a handful of pre-prepared answers, often which are irrelevant to the points you make in your email, and if you are lucky they will eventually offer a refund. My advice would be to avoid purchasing goods from Wowcher because of their misleading adverts, and their awful customer service, the latter which appears to be purposeful so that people give up trying to get either a refund of some form of justice for Wowcher's malpractice.”

“Delicious cake, crispy and soft macaroons, nice salmon sandwiches. Great choice of tea and coffee. These drinks are bottomless. We really enjoyed the afternoon tea at Andaz Hotel.”
