“I wanted to have more cooking space but have the food be away from the flames. This item worked a treat. I was able to fit two cuts of Baby Backs and 3KG of St Louis Cut ribs on the smoker at the same time.
The only down size was not being able to have a drip tray. I might try and find some small foil pans to see if they will fit in the space between the Heat Controller and the grill. The heat controller had a lot of fat drip down onto it. But a quick clean with the hose with hot water and a little scrubbing got off 85% of the grease that fell on it and burned.
Overall a great bit of kit to maximise your cooking space.”
