“Fine, I swapped out all my old joints as some can blow when you're out and leave you with water going everywhere. This new lock system seems much more secure. It's not easy I don't find to push the pipe to where it needs to be (don't make the mistake I made initially of cutting it the the ridge on the fitting..it needs to go right back to the arrow (don't know how I missed that!) or they leak. Recommend a touch of silicon spray/grease and twisting on rather than pushing. I found using 20mm electrical conduit pipe you can sleeve 13mm pipe perfectly, you can then keep straight runs straight (13 sags between clips over time) and fit with conduit clips (pipe and clips come in black, white, galvanised- looks really smart for the extra effort. I use plumbers pipe shears to cut both.”
