“Well, well, well: the Felco 6 gifted to me for Christmas 1979 has eventually needed a new blade - only because I cannot sharpen the old one. My secateurs are now as good as new. The downside (if that is what to call it!) is that I can well see that I won't be a customer again in my lifetime!! Felco have given me a half-century of uninterrupted quality and umpteen hours of pruning with secateurs that have needed only regular care and minimum maintenance. I cannot think of any other product I own that has given this length of faultless service. Quality with capital Q is clearly routine. I am confident that quality has not eroded over the decades due to cheaper lower-quality materials being introduced in a false economy.”
