“The thumb catch is the only component of my Felco 2 which I have had to replace in twenty years of constant use. I appreciate the swift response to my request to replace this component.”
“I found that the replacement threaded bolt in the pack which is used to secure the thumb catch was not a good fit with the existing aperture. It seemed a very tight fit and I was unable to fit it flush which left the catch loose. Might be because my Felco No2 secateurs have worn over 25 years but worth noting. Luckily the " old" threaded bolt was still perfectly serviceable so I reverted to sing that instead and all was well.”
“I was only after a replacement Bumper 2/18 and Shock Absorber 2/20 but was under the illusion that I had to purchase the thumb Catch Pack. What would of been useful in the kit would of been the Crimped Ring 2/19.
