“Bought this with the Tamiya Holiday Buggy. It is a good value package but there is a problem. The connector on the Tamiya speed controller supplied with the buggy does not fit into the socket on the Acoms receiver, it is too wide! The remedy is to carefully file it down to make it fit. The instructions supplied are pretty useless too as the receiver pictured does not bear much resemblance to the one supplied. (It does say "new receiver included" on the front of the box, I wonder if this is a clue.) Wonderland Models should slip a note into the box with some clearer instructions on how to set up the RC system or I imagine they may get some returns from people new to RC. A shame because once up and running it is a great value package.”
