“Obviously , I just received this kit , but was asked to review it . Well , I opened the very large heavy box , took one look at the instructions and rapidly shut the box in shock ! Seriously , this is one heck of a kit , the detail on the chassis in particular would make a good teaching aid for engineering students . I look forward to attacking the kit which is so promising that it has shoved my stash of unbuilt (and half built) kits down a step . I was about to say down a peg , then remembered from living in Scotland for 7 years that "peg" has another meaning . Whatever , it looks excellent . The kit , that is , not the peg . An interesting thing about some of the latest kits , there are more parts in some sub-assemblies than in the whole of the first Airfix Spitfire that I bought when it first came out (OK , I'm old , but my stash means I don't need loft insulation)”
