The TT-02D Drift Spec Chassis Kit from our great range of radio controlled cars - Enjoy the thrill of drifting with this specially tuned drift spec version of the TT-02 chassis.
The chassis features drift spec parts such as 24mm width drift tires (fitted to stylish matte-finish metal-plated wheels), and CVA shock units on the 4-wheel double wishbone suspension. Reinforced resin uprights, damper stays and more contribute to the chassis' tough suspension, while semi-gloss metal-plated parts such as brake disc-shaped wheel hubs and black battery holder parts will catch the eye. Full ball bearings, an aluminium motor heat sink, and a sport-tuned motor come as standard. Of course, the chassis retains the original TT-02's excellent drivability, ease of maintenance, and adaptability.

I was excited to see a 1/48 whirlwind and hoped with some trepidation that trumpeter got it right-they didn't.Dissapointing lack of detail in the cockpit, wrong shaped canopy profile, wingtip lights are not sepatate clear parts but part of the wing moulding.Wheels are un usable (one shallow detail, one deep-both inaccurate). As usual decals are useless (wrong colours),however if it is good enough if it looks like a whirlwind, then it is a good price.Put it at the back of your display cabinet and no one will notice its flaws.

A well produced rendering of a relatively rarely modelled aircraft.

The kit is superb. The only one available was the classic airframes at a huge cost. This fills the gap. Its relatively accurate and fits together well. Highly reccomended. Wonderland model were thier usual high quality service throughout the sale and despatch.

Once again, Wonderland has been first off the mark delivering this new kit.. Discouted price a bonus, as the kit is first class and good value. I'm not the kind of modeller who immediately places parts onto a scale drawing. I have dried fit the main items, and all is looking good. Let's put it this way: it looks every scale inch like a Whirlwind. Good enough for me to abandon my 1/700 scale model of the Bismarck (as she is now). The Whirlwind will be in ops on Saturday morning. I will be replacing the fuselage rounders, though... The yellow outline is just too light! Well done WM for a prompt and safe delivery, and for the discount! Delightful model,of a delightful aeroplane, let down by the underdeveloped engines! Might try a might-have-been Merlin variant! That might have been a world beater (if they could have sorted out the c.g. !!!
