The Revell 1/72 Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress from our 1/72 scale aircraft model kits range accurately recreates the real-life US bomber aircraft flown during WWII. This plastic model kit requires paint and glue to complete. The new Revell model is striking with its recessed panel lines, a super-detailed cockpit and open bay and many moving parts. Separate accessories are included in the model kit.Manufacturer: Revell Model: 04283 B-17G Flying Fortress Scale: 1/72

I'd thought that my Lancaster was large - but this is even wider, despite holding considerably less capacity for bombs. As a model, as the other reviewer said, there is lots of interior detail that will then be hidden, but otherwise a fairly straightforward build to complete. Bought cheaply at ICMS last year from the as-always excellent Wonderland Models.

Excellent kit, plenty of detail if you like that sort of thing. Most of the interior detail will be hidden though when finished. Instructions are a trifle fiddly and are printed on that terrible reconstituted paper plus (it could be my eyesight)but the print appears just a fraction smaller than usual. Decals appear OK but I'm going for another a/c anyway. Main complaint is the usual end opening box, which is not very practical or strong. All in all a very good kit and if manufactured by say Tamigochi would cost at least twice the price.

They look great and provide the DT-02 with improved ground clearance.
