“At first on its sprue this moulded plastic 'barbed wire' looks far too thick and clumsy, but it turns out to be quite effective once painted and deployed. If you wrap a length of it around a pencil the malleable plastic will retain its shape and look very realistic. Smaller lengths can easily be cut and glued between wooden posts to make more elaborate trench defences. Convincing enough with 1/72nd figures and AFVs, it would be even better with larger (1/35, 1/32, 54mm) models. A good price for a lot - which you'll be needing to properly recreate the Great War.”
