“A nice & rewarding kit to build with some fine detailing to be seen at this 1/48 scale, not seen on the 1/72 scale model. There are some criticisms however which proved frustrating: 1-the numbering on the sprue to identify the part numbers are not very legible. 2 - there are 13nr. parts included on the sprue which are not used (presume part of another kit)! 3 - the upper port & starboard wing nav. lights are in clear plastic. These are subsequently covered over when the wing decals are applied. 4 - the tail dragger fixing cannot be done as detailed on the instructions; poor details. 5 - A front view of the aircraft is needed in order to set the wing struts at the right angles for correct fixing; this is poor detailing. 6 - finally, no pilot is included for the cockpit which is disappointing.”

“Very nice kit...70 odd parts...strut wiring maybe fiddly. My reviews are generally about the product....but after ordering from Wonderland for a while now ..I would like to add that their service is superb and I have often asked for advice..which they are more than happy to give. Their pricing is also great ..as with this kit.”

“Great model, using it to build a Diorama for a Rememberance Day Celebration , which will include an exhibit commemorating the Royal Flying Corp. So this will be used to depict the final flight of Baron Von Richthofen and was he downed by Capt. Roy Brown or ground fire from nearby British Soldiers. Sopwith Camel colours will be adapted to depict Browns Aircraft.”
