“An odd thing , some items that we use the most and take for granted do not ever get the reviews they deserve . A case in point here is the Micro set , gloss , matt , sol , etc., that I use all the time ; I tried them when they first came out and have seldom since used other products which claim the same properties . So , what's to say ? Well , in a nutshell , the products do what it says on the lid , but beware , the instructions are there for good reason . You can get away with a slight diversion from the instructions , but I seldom do , mainly because it works as advertised . Shelf life I cannot comment on because I use the stuff so much . One tip for using the Micro products , use the best softest brush you can afford and keep it clean , long bristles work the best . What prompted this review ? I just bought a load more , because I don't want to run out of what I consider an essential tool for a good finish to a model .”

“The job I hate is the application of transfers. I am fumble-fisted, and the transfers themselves have never read the many instructions on how to do it well so they don't follow the rules. All I can say is that Microset helps with location and Microsol makes the transfers sit down tight over rivets etc. Good products.”
