very nice little set. An instant Vignette. The injured soldier can be painted as either English or German. Nice to see British helmets with Hessian over them.

Looks like a nice detailed model, especially the faces. Have not started this yet, but looking forward to it.

Excellent, imaginative figures. It is good that Master Box, who already produce a lot of wonderful WW2 figures, should be moving into the Great War. This set is based on a photograph that you can find in books & on the net. You get 2 fully-equipped Tommies coming out of the Line with 4 German prisoners. (I think the man being carried IS a German, but you could paint his trousers khaki rather than Feldgrau if you want him to be British.)The British soldiers are fully-equipped with several ammo pouches, gasmask bag, entrenching tool bag, etc. all separate pieces to assemble together. Helmets with hessian covers. You can add rifle slings & fags (I gave thin stretched sprue ciggies to one Tommy & one prisoner, as they had in reality). The Germans have had all equipment, including their belts, removed. The two doing the fireman's lift (one with Red Cross armband) & wounded man are quite difficult to assemble together and you will have to do some in-filling. These models would be good in a diorama as they have no bases, but I added bases for museum display without any surrounding terrain. Much easier to paint & assemble once based. Physically they seem a little 'long', but that's a minor quibble and they look superb when finished. I would give Master Box 6 stars if I could!
