“Just completed assembling the BeaufighterTF.X & painted in the optional coastal command livery. Assembly generally ok, however had a few issues especially with the pictorial instructions: 1 - why paint the main supporting wing spars (C25 & C26) when these are not visible when built? 2 - had to file down both main fuselarge sides to accept the wing spars - too tight a fit. 3 - no note on the instructions as to where the radio antenna loop is to be fitted! 4 - ditto, C5 & C6 components to be fitted! 5 - ditto, F10 clear plastic to be fitted! 6 - recess not evident on the underside of the fuselarge to accept the torpedo mountings! Due to the above, have scored the build down !”

“Ordered an Airfix Bristol Beaufighter TF.X together with varnish & paints etc on Saturday evening & received on Tuesday morning; excellent delivery response from Wonderland. They supplied all items requested where if I had ordered the paints through Airfix, some items were out of stock.”

“Excellent kit. Nice engraved panel lines. Measures up well with scale drawings. Several marks will be able to build, hopefully with some extra after market bits, ( namely straight tailplanes and AI nose )Only item missing is the heating duct seen in the cockpit. Otherwise a nice kit all round. Good value for the money.”
