“Really enjoyed putting this kit together, there are some really small parts that need care when cutting out. Love the photo etched gold prop and label for the stand makes it look really good when finished. Also love that there are variations available for both versions of the submarine.”

“I like that you can choose the different configurations, and chose wether to use the brass prop or the the plastic one. A very easy to build kit. There are some very small parts, so make sure you clip the parts out over the box or a piece of paper. The hull comes in two halves, bottom and an option of two tops. There was no warping ( as can happen sometimes with long pieces.) the parts went together well. There are some spare parts that are not in the instructions. A small brass prop and 4 buffers that fit onto the upper hull near the rear access hatch. I guess these were for the rescue sub. They must have decided against including it in the kit. It's no real loss as I wouldn't have used it anyway. Delivery was quick and it was well packaged. Overall I'm very pleased with my new 688i :)”
