Wide choice of print media
Designed to give photographers the freedom to display their prints in a number of ways, the SC-P400 supports a number of sheet and roll media formats in sizes up to A3+. For those wanting to produce prints fit for a gallery, the printer features an easy-to-use, rear-loading fine art paper path. This allows users to print onto thicker media, up to 1.3mm, for rigid photos which are easy to display. For larger prints, panoramics or special formats, roll media is supported.

“Bought this as an emergency replacement for an R3000 which had given good service for 7 years but eventually suffered an irredeemable head failure part way through my Christmas card run. The SC-P400 arrived and was quickly set up to finish the work. I was not disappointed! At first I was a bit hesitant about the ink set it uses - orange?! - but the results are superb and with the SC-P400 printer there is no requirement to waste ink changing from matte to photo black. Also the optional gloss-optimizer is well worth using (if a bit of a luxury on Christmas cards). Photographic reproduction on my favourite smooth lustre paper is excellent and I am really looking forward to printing some photos for exhibition.”
