LEE Filters Landscape Polariser 105mm Reviews

Read the Landscape Photography Magazine review of the Lee Landscape Polarising filter here. An in-depth, in-the-field test and review with lots of sample images, by leading UK landscape photographer, Mark Bauer. The file is a PDF file, so you may need a suitable program, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader.

The LEE Filters Slimline Landscape Polariser is designed to go down to 16/17mm without vignetting, when used with a two slotted filter holder on a full frame 35mm sensor DSLR. It is a circular glass filter which screws onto the Lee 105mm Front Holder Accessory, sold separately.

Because the Landscape Polariser screws onto the front of the holder, it leaves both slots in the holder free, allowing the photographer to add further filters of their choice, opening up even more creative possibilities.

The Landscape Polariser comes with an added advantage. It has a slightly warm bias, so not only is the photographer able to remove glare from shiny surfaces, or increase the contrast between blue sky and white cloud, they can also enhance the greens, browns and gold tones in landscapes. The perfect companion to your outdoor images, the Landscape Polariser combines all the quality and clarity of the standard LEE Filters Polariser with the versatility of a warm-up filter, making it an essential addition to the photographer's kit bag.

Yes, it's expensive, but it's typical LEE quality through and through and is stylishly wrapped. Can't fault it at all.
