Metz Ex-Display 15 MS-1 Macro Digital Ringflash
The Metz flash comes with three adapter rings for different size lenses (52, 55 and 58mm) and a terminal that serves as an infrared filter for the pop-up flash of the camera so that the light from it is not included in the photo. This ensures that the light in the picture is only influenced by the light emitted from the Metz flash. The light comes from two built-in ring flash tubes and not from the entire ring around the lens.
Due to the simplicity of mounting this flash unit onto a camera, it's possible to easily, quickly and smoothly switch between macro photography with the flash and photography without flash. The ability to do this means that the Metz 15 MS-1 Macro Digital Ringflash is the ideal ringflash for photographers who often combine macro photography, landscape photography, etc. in their work.

Still coming to terms with the full potential of this flash system. The results so far are extremely promising. The flash itself is of very good quality with a useful range of adjustments. It has a short recycle time. Almost instant with Panasonic eneloop pro rechargeable batteries, The unit comes with 6 adapters for different lenses - Sod’s law - I needed a 46mm adapter for my 60mm Olympus macro.! Care needs to be taken with reflective surfaces eg: a watch back, as you can get the flash heads reflected in the shot. The infra red shield which is supplied to fit over the small Olympus fill in flash is a bit “Heath Robinson but will soon be adapted using Velcro. All things considered, a good quality specialist piece of kit. Highly recommended.
