This lens is suitable for wide variety of occasions from daily snapshots including sceneries like sunsets or dimly lit indoor shots to the deliberate creative shots. High-performance X lens crystallizes Panasonic’s optical technologies. Superb image rendering produces lifelike textures and natural atmospheres with remarkable transparency.
The Nano Surface Coating technology dramatically minimizes light reflection at entire visual light range (380nm-780nm) by applying the extra-low refractive index coating with nano-sized structure on the surface of the lens. It results in the super clear images with dramatic reduction of ghost and flare.
The POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) boasts double repression power compared to the MEGA O.I.S.. It is particularly effective for a low-frequency vibration, which is physically generated when pressing the shutter button or when shooting at night with a slow shutter speed. This greatly improves the quality of shots taken at night or indoors where flash cannot be used, or where the photographer doesn't want to use flash because it would spoil the mood. It captures beautiful photos in situations that previously resulted in blurring.
