“Not the easiest to set up, and the manual frankly stinks! However, once up and running I am delighted with the quality of print, both colour and monochrome. I've no idea what the ink cost will be as I don't have any usage data. But if I knew what I know know, would I buy it? Yes, for certain”

“I bought this to replace my Canon Pixma Pro 9000 printer, which has served me impeccably for TWELVE years !! Until very recently it never failed to produce perfect prints. This printer, I think, is an evolution of that one, and the results so far have been absolutely stunning. Faultless and perfect. I cannot imagine creating higher quality prints. What more can I say ?”

“The Canon Pixma Pro 100s prints very Good images on All papers I have fed to it so far. Colours are superb on canon paper (had 7 free Pro Platinum papers as well) of which colour was superb on them. I mostly use Lustre and Art papers in my printers. As said colours on my lustre paper are excellent & B&W is also excellent. I do a Lot of B&W and digital bromoil/Lith for my presentations. Alas, I can't get the B&W that I need on my Art Papers but I reckon that's to be expected with Dye inks. I did wast 25 sheets of Art paper to get a good B&W but gave up in the end. If anyone knows the settings (ICC profiles) for Good B&W on Art Paper Please do Tell me. All in All, a Very Good Printer. Would I recommend it to anyone. YES! Buy it for it's colour and good B&W on Lustre/Gloss/TitaniumPearl etc...But not so good for deep blacks on Art paper if that is what you need.”
