In addition the grip reduces the chances of camera shake greatly and can be left in place for added protection to your X-PRO2 body. Users can also gain easy access to the SD card and battery compartment via a dedicated hole for quick battery and card changes. The bottom of the grip also features a dovetail design that can act as a quick release plate with Arca Swiss compatible tripod mounts.

“This grip may not be needed if shooting with short prime lens. However, it will give a much better grip of the X-Pro2 when bulkier and longer lens are attached (even with Fujinon XF 18-55mm f2.8-4 zoom lens). The grip is not too big or heavy but does give the camera a slightly beefier look. The quality and finish of the hand grip is excellent. It fits tightly and securely. Access to the battery chamber is not impeded and there is standard tripod screw hole at the centre. The grip supplied by Wilkinson is about £30 cheaper than other competitors. It was still £25 cheaper with p & p included. The service is brilliant and quick. The grip even came before the X-Pro2 body!!”
