LED GU10s are so much more energy-efficient than conventional light bulbs. This is due to the fact that they employ a much better heat-dispersal system than both their fluorescent and incandescent contemporaries. Heat in bulbs is both wasteful of energy and detrimental to the longevity of light bulbs, and this is why LEDs last up to twenty times longer than incandescent bulbs that emit the equivalent Lumens of brightness.
This frugality translates directly to cash in your pocket as opposed to the utility company’s. Along with their recyclability, and the fact that they’re 100% ‘greener’ than equivalently bright traditional bulbs, this also means they’re preferable environmentally-speaking as well.
