Introducing ProNXT
The ProNXT generation of LED spotlights has been finely tuned to squeeze every last drop of performance out of them. The lumens-to-watts ratio has been greatly improved, with a brighter light for less energy usage. The heat sink has been tightened, with pristine materials used, to disperse heat better. This lengthens the lifespan of the bulb massively.
Why You'll Want To Replace Your Halogens With This
Each 6W GU10 bulb comes with 27 individual high power 5050 Surface Mounted Diode LEDs (SMDs). By having multiple high power SMDs on the face of the spotlight you can achieve a wide flood beam angle of 120°. Alongside this wide beam angle, it comes with a 450 lumen light output so it can easily replicate a 60W halogen.
The 27SMD is one of three GU10 spotlights that we do that are available in 3 different options. As with all of our LED spotlights and LED light bulbs, the 27SMD GU10 bulb is available in Warm White (3000K) and Cool White (6000K).
Generally, Warm White is used in rooms such as bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms. It is the closest colour that an LED can emit that is closest to traditional halogen spotlights.
Cool White is the clear white that you will generally find used in bathrooms and kitchens. Like the 80SMD 3.3W GU10 LED Bulb and the COB 7W GU10, the 27SMD is also available in Daylight (4000K). Daylight is a solid middle ground for light colour being between both Warm White and Cool White. Generally it is used in the kitchens, bathrooms and dining rooms.
