This G9 mains voltage LED bulb features a solid design and uses just 2.5 watts of electricity, Each bulb features 48 super bright SMD (Surface Mounted Diode) LEDs and offers a bright, omni-directional light equivalent to a 40 watt halogen.
The bulb is available in both warm and cool (daylight) white. Warm white (3,000K) gives a soft, orangey-yellow light, while cool white (6,000K) is a bright, clear light. For more information about colour temperature, please read our colour guide.
This bulb requires no transformer or driver and will work in your existing fittings.

“The bulbs are excellent but a lot bigger than the capsule they replaced luckily there was enough space in the fitting. The dimensions were correctly shown but a small ruler in the picture would aid choice. Give out excellent light and run nice and cool unlike the halogen they replaced. There was no plastic cover over the LEDs as shown. The company delivered and were pleasant to deal with when I spoke to them. I would deal with them again.”

“The bulbs are very good replacements, but you need to be aware that these have quite a large circumference, which means they are not suitable for small light fittings - our light had decorative glass 'tubes' around the bulbs, which we have had to remove to accommodate the LED replacements. The lighting is bright and a good colour and the delivery/service is excellent.”

“I love these clear led bulbs.I have been living in the dark using the other type of low energy spirals. G9's were costing me a lot in replacements and using 25w. My electricity bills rise during the long dark winter months. I liked the next day delivery.”

“light is clear but would like a little brighter. I am using the light corner lamp in living area but not bright enough. LED does look good though and delivery was next day (paid nothing for it also).”

“This has been used to replace a secondary lamp in a designer uplighter that my company makes. The light is a good quality, great for reading, stitching and working under. Dimensions are perfect for our designs. Price is higher than some other people but performance is greater.”
