If you’ve been thinking of upgrading your tired old lights to stylish and modern LED ceiling lights, but couldn’t make up your mind about the perfect ones to go for, then you’re in the right place because this GU10 fire-rated downlight from Mirrorstone™ could be the one you’re after! It’s a fixed downlight with a sleek white finish that’ll complement the décor of any ceiling into which you install it. If, however, you’re not a fan of the white finish, we also have chrome, satin chrome and brass varieties to choose from. What’s more, we stock a GU10 tiltable version, so you’ll be able to direct the beam angle of your light to suit the dimensions and lighting requirements of your room. Introducing NeoTec The NeoTec line has been fully updated to deliver the absolute best that a downlight can be. With such a sturdy design, these fire rated materials have been streamlined to provide better fire protection, with a stylish appearance that looks great. The design has been revamped to include better heat dissipation, increasing the lifespan of your bulb. Better Safe Than Sorry! The integrity of your ceiling is more important than you might think. Essentially it acts as a barrier, reducing a fire’s ability to spread for a time. The fact is that this GU10 fixed downlight requires a 65mm hole to be made in the ceiling into which it will be installed, compromises the ceiling’s integrity, and reduces its fire retardant ability. This is where its fire-rated feature comes in. It redresses the instability caused by the cutting, and will give the building’s occupants an extra 90 minutes of protection in the event of a fire. Therefore, despite the very small extra cost of fire-rated products, it’s wise to have them installed, and they’ll give you that all-important extra peace of mind too! Compatibility Matters! IP (Ingress Protection) ratings sound complicated, but they’re actually very simple. The first digit refers to the light’s protection against foreign bodies such as dust and the latter relates to the light’s level of water resistance. This GU10 downlight has an IP20 rating, which means it’s compatible only with dry areas, however, we also have IP65 rated models which are completely dust tight and will withstand low-pressure jets of water from any direction. Our entire range of GU10 LED bulbs will fit this fire rated downlight perfectly, which is very good news for you as they’re amongst our very best-selling items. They’re available in quite a few sizes, from the smallest GU10 LED 48 SMD 2.5W producing 268 Lumens of brightness to the 9W COB which belts out 860 and is dimmable when used in conjunction with trailing edge dimmer switches. They’ll also give you the ability to match the mood or ambience of your room with their colour temperatures. Most of these nifty little bulbs are available in either cool white (6000K) which is most often chosen for its sheer brightness and used in functional areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.  The...

These are great lights against the price and thats why I give them Five stars, I would only give them Four stars for quality. Note, if doing a perfect fit, it's hard to get two cables neatly into the lamps if your running the cable(s) on. Would buy again.

These are very good quality lights and are much brighter than I expected. I had to dismantle the connection blocks to wire them because access was otherwise too tight even for one cable and the retaining clip was not designed for two. Nevertheless, I would still recommend them.
