The 2 G9 bulbs we do sell each bring something different to the table. Our 2W G9 LED Bulb is a simple and straightforward product. It uses just 2W of energy and gives 100 lumens of brightness. A beam angle of 180o makes it great for general illumination.
Better yet, buying 5 or more will earn your discounts through our volume purchasing scheme.
Our other 3W Dimmable G9 LED Bulb uses a bit more power at 3W, but also delivers over 3 and a half times the brightness at 360 lumens. Crucially though, this bulb is dimmable, allowing you to control the level of brightness you want.
Please be aware though that to use dimmable lights, you will need a trailing edge dimmer. Currently existing leading edge dimmers that you would typically find in most houses can’t be guaranteed to work, and may even damage the LEDs.

What Are Colour Temperatures?
When buying your Caprice 5 way LED ceiling light, you’ll have the option of buying bulbs with it as part of the package.
You’ll have to choose between 2 colour temperatures – warm white (3000K) and cool white (6000K).
The only difference between the 2 is the perceived warmth of the light given off.
Warm white is very similar to the shade of light given off by traditional halogens, and is great for creating a cosy environment. This makes it perfect for places like the bedroom or living area.
Cool white on the other hand is brighter than warm, and gives off a far more penetrative light as a result. This makes it better suited to places that require concentration like kitchen or office.
The Safety Of LEDs
There are loads of reasons why LED bulbs are the way forward.
Perhaps more importantly than any other reason however, is that they’re considerably safer than other bulbs.
LEDs operate at far cooler temperatures than incandescent lights. This is because they are up to 10 times more energy efficient, losing substantially less energy to heat wastage.
This results in less risk of fire, and you also won’t burn your skin by touching the light itself too.
LEDs also don’t contain any harmful substances such as Mercury vapour. This is present in fluorescent lights though, and is hugely detrimental to your brain, internal organs and immune system should you be exposed to it in the event of a leak.
